On Monday, September 20, 2021, our fierce and loving boy, Luke Thomas White, was called into the arms of Jesus while he napped. He woke that morning to his momma singing him happy birthday and gave her a big hug at the end of the song. He helped his dada get ready for the day, and was excited about his upcoming birthday celebrations.

Luke had a heart of pure joy, he loved smiling, laughing and giving hugs, singing and dancing to his favorite songs, riding "up" on shoulders, wrestling, playing with the dog, repeatedly watching his favorite movie (Toy Story 3), jumping in bounce houses, going to swim lessons, learning and growing with his friends at school, reading his favorite books, going to Sunday School, Wee-Worship and AWANAS at church, spending time with family, and meeting new people; Luke had never met a stranger.

Luke is loved and will be deeply missed by his parents, Brian and Briana White, 2yr old brother; Jackson, "Lola and Pops" (Briana's parents, Adriana and Russell McDonald), "Mimi and Papa" (Brian's parents, Marsha and Steve White), great grandparents; John and Dianne Simpson, great grandma; Thelma White, aunts and uncles – John, Samantha, Daniel, and Emily, 8 great aunts and uncles, and many extended family members and dear friends.

A viewing/visitation will be held on Friday, October 1st, from 6pm-8pm at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Rd, Houston, TX 77089. In honor of Luke's life, a funeral service will be held Saturday, October 2nd, at 11:00am at Fellowship Bible Church (https://www.fellowshipbible.org/lukewhite), 1720 East Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581 immediately followed by a Celebration of Life event in the grassy area outside the church. The gathering will be for the children and adults to come together and celebrate Luke's life. Luke's favorite food; pizza, will be served and there will be a few of Luke's favorite outdoor activities for the children. The family is asking everyone to wear something bright and colorful (no black) that reminds them of Luke. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a charitable contribution be made to the Luke Thomas White Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Rise School of Houston, a school dedicated to delivering the highest quality early educational services to children ages six months to six years with and without disabilities in an inclusive environment.
