Lucia F. Rennison, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother peacefully passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 93, surrounded by friends and family. Born in Robstown, TX, raised in Alice, TX, she eventually settled in Houston, TX, where she lived the rest of her life with her loving husband, George, of 63 years.

Lucy moved to Galveston to pursue a job opportunity. While working in Galveston, she met George, while he was serving in the Navy, on a blind date.  This union resulted in four children: Raymond, Robert, Belinda, Mark, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren living all around the country.

Lucy worked in administration for several companies eventually retiring from Baylor College of Medicine after 20 years of service. After retiring, she took care of her grandchildren, never missed her weekly trip to the beauty shop, or weekly bingo/loteria time. If Lucy knew you, your life's information was on her calendar and she loved sending out monthly birthday/special cards. When you visited her, you got to experience her sweet smile and the full brunt of her infectious laugh which was quite loud. Her favorite color was purple, she loved eating out and happy to cover the tab. Most importantly, she loved Jesus and gave thanks for her life each and every day.

The service honoring Lucia's life will be held at New Day Church - Pasadena, 2812 Pansy Street, Pasadena, TX 77503, at 11:00am, Tuesday, June 17, 2025. A visitation will be held at New Day Church - Pasadena, 2812 Pansy Street, Pasadena, TX 77503, from 6:00pm-7:00pm with Memorial Service from 7:00pm-8:00pm, Monday, June 16, 2025. Reception will be held  at New Day Gym following burial.
