Linda Faye Hibbard, 80, went home to her Lord and Savior on Sept. 6, 2023 at her home in Splendora, Texas following a long illness.

Linda was born on Jan. 22, 1943, the daughter of Clarence and Irene Medaris in Houston, Texas.She grew up in Houston and served as a police officer for Pasadena Police Department as well as Houston Police Department.

She was married to Billy Ray Hibbard until his death in 2009. They made their home in Pearland, Texas. After retiring she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, attending church and following politics. Her dog Cowgirl was often by her side.

She is preceded in death by her husband, a son John Partridge, her parents and her brother David Medaris.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Seba; stepdaughter, Arlette Jarmon; sister-in-law Lori Medaris; grandsons Bryan Janak; Ronald Shanahan (Lindsey); granddaughters Stephanie Shanahan (Andrew Thurman); Cassandra Seba. Great granddaughters: Kaylee, Skylar, and Kyliegh. Great grandsons: Colton, Dustyn, Lane, Tanner, Anthony, Paxton, and Peyton.

The memorial service will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Wednesday, September 13, at 3:00pm., with visitation one hour prior to the service.
