On Saturday, September 23rd, Linda Abendroth Elliott, passed away at home surrounded by her family and gained her angel wings. She was a loving and supportive Wife, Mom, and Grandma.

Linda was born October 30, 1949 in Houston Texas to Augustus "Gus" Abendroth and Iris Abendroth. She grew up in Houston before moving to LaRue, Texas where she attended High School and was named LaPoynor Valedictorian in 1968.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Curtis Elliott; her loving children Marcus Wright, Tina Wright, and Stacey Comer, 7 siblings and 8 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Carl Abendroth.

Linda worked at Shell Oil Company for 38 years, where she retired in 2009. She and Curtis enjoyed cruising all over the world and many casino trips over the years.

The funeral service for Linda will be held Thursday, September 28th, at 2:00pm, at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Rd, Houston, Texas 77089. A reception will immediately follow at Gringos restaurant in Pearland, Texas.
