Linda Nell Cummings of Dickinson Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on June   20, 2025.  She was born in Hempstead Texas on July 4, 1937 to William "Bill" and Verlene (Bragg) Cummings.  She attended Texas City schools.

She had many gifts and talents and loved her family dearly.  She worked at several grocery and retail stores then had her own daycare for several years.  She always had a love for children and went on to drive a school bus for Clear Creek ISD for 21 years.

She considered her nieces and nephews her children and they loved hanging out with her.  She spent countless hours drawing, painting, crocheting and other such crafts.

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Verlene Cummings, her brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Martha Cummings and her brother-in-law Albert Tacker.

Survivors include her sister Bonnie Tacker, brother and sister-in-law Don and Sally Cummings, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

The service honoring Linda's life will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, TX 77089, at 4:00pm, Saturday, June 28, 2025, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
