Leslie "Les" Jordan of League City passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age 73. He was a Christmas Day baby born in 1949, to Leslie and Bernice "Dah" Jordan. He grew up in West University.  He attended Pershing Middle School and graduated from Lamar High School in 1969. He went on to attend Sam Houston State University and graduated in 1973. Les made a lot of friends during his school years and kept those friends throughout his life.

His business career was dedicated to the food industry. In fact, it started with him sacking groceries for JMH groceries in West U during high school.  After college he started supplying wholesale foods to grocery stores. In 2004 he opened his own wholesale business. Les was a lifetime member of the Rodeo Calf Scramble and Parade committee. In 2003 he became a Mason at Clearlake Lodge 1417. On June 17, 1988 he married Diane Jordan. They missed celebrating their 35th Anniversary by four days. They truly were soul mates dedicated to each other. They spent many happy years fishing and going to the deer lease.  During his illness she was always there for him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Joe Pennington, nephew Greg Pennington and dear friends Jerry Caves and Linda Kemp.

Left to grieve are his wife Diane Jordan and his three stepsons; Joseph Schmidt, Richard and David Boniberger. His grandson Cody BoniBerger and great granddaughter Jelyn. The entire loving families of Joe Pennington and the Hardy family.Close friends Patrick Restivo, Robert Patterson and an abundance of lifetime friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm. Wednesday, July 5, 2023 .at Peevey Funeral Home,12440 Beamer Rd.  Houston TX
