Leda Ann (Hover) Williams passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026, at her home, surrounded by family and friends.

She was born on February 26, 1944, in her family home in Slidell, Louisiana, to James Fountain Hover and Leda Ann (Mayfield) Hover. Leda attended Northeast Louisiana State College, where she met her husband, Glenn D. Williams. They shared 60 years of marriage and moved to Texas in 1975, becoming longtime residents of the Sage Meadow community.

Leda is survived by her husband, Glenn D. Williams; her children, Shea Williams Norris (Jeremy), Scott Williams (Linda), Clifton A. Williams (Katie), and Craig Williams; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; her brother, Andrew F. Hover (Mickey); and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, James Fountain Hover Jr., Charles Clifton Hover, Nellie Mae (Hover) Packer, and Marie (Hover) Pravata.

Leda was a longtime member of St. Luke's Catholic Church, as well as the Catholic Daughters and Red Hat Society. She was deeply involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren, supporting FFA events, school activities, and family gatherings. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and was known for always showing up alongside her husband, lovingly called Pop.

Leda will be remembered for her quiet strength, steady presence, and deep love for her family.

Services will be held at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Thursday, January 22, 2026, the Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m., Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow in the church social hall.
