Larry Wayne White, age 76, of San Leon, Texas, passed away on March 5, 2023. Larry was born on December 15, 1946, to Wilbur Max and Doris Mae White in the small farming town of Senatobia, MS. He graduated Treadwell High School in 1964 in Memphis, TN.

He married Janice Marie Richardson on July 6, 1973, and they raised their two girls, Christy and Ashley in Falkner, Mississippi where they owned and operated their heating and air conditioning business, White Refrigeration for nearly 25 years.

In 1997, Janice and Larry retired to the coast at Foley, Alabama, where they spent 10 wonderful years. After Janice's death in 2008, Larry moved to the Houston area to be closer to Christy and Ashley and their children.

In 2017 Larry met his beloved companion Rebecca Longoria, and they enjoyed six beautiful years traveling, enjoying grandchildren and family, hobbies, and eventually settling into a bay house in San Leon, Texas.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Max and Doris White, and his wife Janice Richardson White. He is survived by his devoted companion Rebecca Longoria of San Leon, TX; his children Kelly White (Cheryl Guidi) of Nesbit, MS, Pamela Hood of Peyson, AZ, Christy White Wootan (Tim) of Katy, TX, Ashley White (Doug Riddle) of Magnolia, TX; his step-daughters Cindy Hill Baurnfind (Glen) of Collierville, TN, Lori Hill Foster (Dennis) of Colleyville, TX; his sisters Jan Casey of Dresden, TN, Melanee White of McKenzie, TN; thirteen grandchildren including Calvin and Tyler White; Jonathan and Jimmy Taggart; Harley, Callie and Willie Wootan; Lacy Riddle; Chad Hammons (Jax); Brett (Hannah) and Brian Baurnfind (Jessie); Allyson and Parker Foster; and one great-grandson Sawyer Hammons.

He was a sweet, devoted dad, grandfather "Daddy Larry", companion, cousin and friend who loved the Gulf Coast.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 10 at 1:00 pm until 2:00pm, the service will follow at 2:00 pm., at Peevey Funeral & Cremation, 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, Texas 77089. Interment will be held Tuesday, March 14 at 2:00 pm at Pine Rest Memorial Park, US Highway 98 West, Foley, Alabama 36535.
