Kyle Edward Thompson 43, was born June 28, 1979 in Pasadena, Texas. He left his family and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 27, 2023. He is survived by his parents Ed and Freddie Thompson and Mike and Debbie Edwards. He also leaves behind his brother Trey Collum and Sister- In- Law Michelle Collum along with their children Delton and Savannah; His sister Keri Dotson, Brother- In- Law Bryan Dotson along with their children Peyton and Presley; Step-Sister Seane Faulkner and Step-Brother Johnathan Edwards. Kyle has two sons, Hunter Kyle Thompson, 25 and Brody Land Thompson, 15. Also missing him are his Uncle Rickey and Aunt Jackie Hanks and their daughter Ashley along with her family and the many close friends that supported him during his time on earth.

Kyle graduated from Pearland High School in 1997. He went on to attend San Jacinto College and received an Associate's Degree in Process Technology and began work as a Process Operator. Most recently he had been managing properties in the Heights area. He was extremely intelligent and that was evident anytime you had a conversation with him. It was remarkable that he was able to repair anything his hands touched. He loved spending time riding his bike along Buffalo Bayou at sunset. He had recently taken up scuba diving and was enjoying diving. He was also an incredible cook and often cooked for friends and family. Aside from his family and friends, one of his great loves was music, especially classic rock, in particular Led Zepplin. Kyle was re-baptized several years ago at New Hope Church. His family takes great comfort in knowing he is finally at peace in the arms of Jesus.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 4th from 6:00pm until - 8:00pm at Peevey Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Friday, May 5th at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
