Kristy Michelle Myers was born on October 2nd, 1982. She gained her heavenly wings on April 9th, 2024, after her battle with colon cancer. Kristy was the eldest daughter of Michael Danford Myers and Gwynn Mary Myers. She graduated from Spring High School. Kristy loved being a part of the Starlettes; it meant the world to her. She also loved dance, theater, and running 5Ks. One of her favorite memories was performing in the Nutcracker at BAHBT Theater. Another passion of Kristy's was education. She was an elementary teacher before her diagnosis and had adored all of her students and faculty members.

Kristy was also a woman of God, being an active member of SouthMain Baptist Church, and she enjoyed being a part of their annual Bethlehem program during Christmas.

Kristy was preceded in death by her father, Michael Myers; mother, Gwynn Myers; and grandmother, Mary Bass. She is survived by her only sister, Stephanie Ballard, and "husband; TJ Ballard", along with nephews Devin and Logan Ballard, and nieces Samantha and Skylar Ballard. This also includes her "uncle; Herbert Myers, and aunt, Joe Myers. Her first cousins include John Myers and Mary Aparicio." Other cousins include "Brandy Kennedy, her husband, Philip Kennedy, and their children, Parker, Mason, and Abby Kennedy." She left behind many other friends and family, part of which includes her best friend, Veronica Alexander.

The service will be held Friday, April 19th, at 11:00 am. at SouthMain Baptist Church, 4300 East Sam Houston Parkway Pasadena TX 77505.  Flowers can be sent to SouthMain Baptist Church in care of Kristy Myers.
