Kelli Rhae Hinds, 53, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 13th, 2023, after a routine medical procedure. Kelli was born on May 15th, 1970, in Charleston, South Carolina.

Kelli enjoyed fishing with her partner Juan and youngest son Isaiah and spending time with Yancy, the daughter she always wanted but never had. She loved cooking but not so much cleaning. Kelli took pride in being there for her friends and family in times of need.

Becoming "Nana" was a great joy in Kelli's life, and she adored spending time with her granddaughters Lana and Kailani Hinds, whom she lovingly referred to as her "rays of sunshine."

Our family is devastated by her loss, but we will not give in to our sorrow. Instead, we will celebrate her life. For everyone who has ever been blessed to know her, we hope you hold on to every memory she has given you.

Kelli is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ada "Ruth" Hinds, brother Jon Hinds and niece Brittany Medina.

Kelli is survived and will be immensely missed by her partner Juan Carranza and his children Kevin, Yancy, Genesis, and Lily; Sons Zachary Hinds and fiancé Cynthia and Isaiah Zermeno and partner Rija; sisters Karen Dunn, Debbie Messick and her husband Rick, and Lisa Hinds and partner Matt Anderson, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Viewing will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Rd, Houston, Texas 77089, on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
