Katherine Dailey Brown, 82 of Houston, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on February 6th, 2026. Katherine was born in Round Rock, Texas, February 1st, 1944 to the late Virgil and Mildred Dailey.

She loved gardening and spending time with family and friends. She was always a helper of others and compassionate to those in need.  She loved dancing to the music of the 50's and 60's, especially "The Twist".

She is survived by her loving husband Patrick Brown, her son Jimmy Hoffman, her three daughters, Sheree Higby, Shelle Wood and husband Mark, and Shana Jo Miller and husband Jeremy. Her cousin Jerry Miles and wife Arlene. Her nephews, Rory Lawrence, Corey Atkinson, wife Liza, and son Andre. Stepsons Robbin Brown and wife Donna, Troy Brown and stepdaughter Lindsay Liles. Her grandchildren who affectionately referred to her as Gonga, Stephanie Schumaker, Eric Lozano, Mindy Cubero, Seth Wood, Kristin Hoffman, Justin Hoffman, Hayden Higby, Brandon Hoffman, Kyle Miller and Isaac Miller. Also, numerous great grandchildren as well as many family friends.

She is preceded in death by her sister Jo Ann Atkinson and husband Fred, and brother David Dailey.

A celebration of life will be held in the Spring to honor her life and legacy.
