Juliet Ross went home to be with her Lord and Savior in Spring, Texas on July 8, 2023.  Juliet was born on June 26, 1925, in Rochester, New York to Thomas and Antoinette Turchetti.  Julie met her husband, Jospeh Ross in Rochester and they were married on January 18, 1954, before Joe shipped off to Korea.  Together Joe and Julie had two sons, Frank and Richard.  While in Rochester, Julie worked as a property manager for Buckingham Properties for over 20 years.

Julie was known for her famous homemade Italian cooking.  Julie loved to cook chicken parmesan and her homemade sauce and meatballs.  Julie's meatballs were so delicious that she traded homemade meatballs for eyeglasses with her optometrist.  She had at least 10 pairs of glasses at any given time in all colors.  Julie was always dressed to a "T" with her stylish glasses and accessorizing jewelry.   Julie had a love for food, wine, and coffee.  Julie spoke Italian and loved to sing and dance.  In fact, Julie was still dancing just a little over two years ago.  Julie was the life of the party and all who knew her loved her.  Julie was a devout Catholic and loved her family and her Lord and Savior.

Julie and Joe lived in Rochester until she and Joe moved to Spring, Texas to live near their sons and grandsons.

Julie is preceded in death by her husband Joe and is survived by her son Frank and wife Lori, son Richard and wife Edna, and grandchildren, Brady, Ryan, and Amy.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 10:00am followed by a Catholic service honoring Julie's life at 11:00am in the chapel at Peevey Funeral Home, located at 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, TX 77089. She will be privately laid to rest with her husband at the Houston National Cemetery.
