Julie Marie Drey Gutierrez had passed in the arms of the Lord on January 20th, 2022, in Cypress, Texas. Just 44 years old, Julie was born on June 2nd of 1977 to Kan and William Drey in Fort Polk, Louisiana at the U.S. Army Hospital, and they moved to Houston where she was raised. She is survived by her husband Jose Gutierrez, her children Brianna and Jose Jr. Gutierrez, her parents Kan and William Drey, her brother Mike Drey and many other family members, as well as caring friends.

With a heart of gold, Julie, for a long time has given her life to not only to her family, but to helping and treating everyone with kindness. She never knew anyone as a stranger and accepted anyone with open arms. She would be described as a radiant, selfless, and hardworking woman who knew exactly what to say and lightened up the lives of so many people, whether she knew it or not.

You could see Julie spending her time with her husband and her family, helping her children in school, sitting in the backyard with her "fur babies" and "glam children", going out and taking care of friends, or donating and volunteering her time to help anyone in need.

Her service will be held at the Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Rd, Houston, TX 77089, January 28th at 11:00am., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster,TX 77598.
