Judith Ann "Judy" Stonecipher passed away at home June 27, 2024 at the age of 84.  Judy was born in Duncan, Oklahoma to Oral and Marie Snider on January 24, 1943. After graduating high school, she took a job as a bookkeeper at the local B.F. Goodrich. Through mutual friends, she met the love of life, Carl E. Stonecipher. They were married in November of 1964.

Her husband's job brought them to Houston, Texas where they began their family. Judy gave birth to a son, Carl E. Stonecipher, Jr. in August of 1969. After staying home to care for her son, she returned to work as an Inventory Control Specialist in the steel industry. She worked her way in to a wonderful career as Salesperson specializing in plate steel.

After the death of her husband in March of 2010, Judy retired. She was an avid knitter and made many blankets which she gave away to friends and donated to charity. She enjoyed the friendship of many great people through her Silver Sneakers exercise classes at the YMCA. Judy will be missed by many.

A visitation will be held at Peevey Funeral Home on Monday, July 8th, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00pm. The funeral service will also be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Tuesday, July 9th, at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Duncan Cemetery in Duncan, Oklahoma at a later date.
