Juanda Lue Adams Crawford passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024 at the age of 91.  Juanda was born on a farm in Olton, TX on April 30, 1933.   She briefly attended Texas Tech University before moving south with her family and finally settling in Alvin, TX where she was a resident for 46 years.  She was a proud member of First Methodist Church of Pearland.

Juanda worked in the medical field, primarily as an EKG Technician at Memorial Southeast Hospital in Houston.  After retiring she enjoyed volunteering at First United Church of Pearland and the VA Hospital in Houston.

Juanda is survived by her sister Delane, sons Dennis (wife Kathy), Galen (wife Gina),  Darwyn (wife Cindy),  Connan (wife Tina), grandchildren, Jason, Cristyn, Niki, Carrie, Amanda, Justin, Matthew, Scott, Kelly, Jenna, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Juanda was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, sons Shannon and Bart, parents  John and Juanita Adams, sister Barbara, sister Carol, and brother Sonny .

The service honoring Juanda's life will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday, November 18, 2024, at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, TX 77089. Visitation will be held from 5pm-7pm, Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Peevey Funeral Home as well. Interment will follow the service at South Park Cemetery in Pearland.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
