Joseph Matthew Morrison, was born on December 31st, 1990, in St. Louis, Missouri to Paul and Holly Morrison. Joseph was a beloved son, brother, father, believer, and partner. Joseph was full of love, passion, and talent. He enjoyed playing classical guitar and was enthusiastic about every hobby. Joseph never let the difficulty level hold him back. When he wanted to learn a new song, recipe, or game, he would start from the beginning and learn each step of the way. Joe wanted to understand why the notes worked the way they did. He looked for the connection.

When making bread he wanted to understand why the dough would rise and then shared what he learned by breaking the bread with those he was with. Once Joe started a video game, he did not want to beat it so he could say he did. Joseph wanted to show you how fun something could be no matter how hard it got. Some people would walk away after a checkmate, but Joe would say, 'Let's play again and see the match from a different perspective.' Joseph would always find a way to smile, remind you to laugh, and always remembered to call you on your birthday.

Joseph cared deeply for his family and friends, and 'loved hard.'  He left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He loved spending time with his brothers playing video games, practicing judo with his dad and brothers, playing guitar, singing with Kumo and his friends, and listening to all kinds of music. He was devoted to his family, his daughter Lianora, and pursuing understanding and knowledge of his Catholic faith. Joseph never quit trying.
