Joseph Mykal Le, 54, of Houston, Texas, passed away on August 13th, 2026 in Houston, Texas.  Born on November 29th, 1971 in Vietnam to Oanh Dinh Le and Don Thi Nguyen. Joseph Mykal Le was a lifelong resident of Houston, Texas.

He graduated in 1989 from J. Frank Dobie High School with honors and went on to obtain a masters in Sociology from the University of Houston Clear Lake. He built a career as an Outreach Coordinator, Licensed Master Social Worker for Harris County. His specialties were in policy, programs, community outreach, engagement, and volunteer management.  Known by his colleagues for his dedication and commitment. He spent 27 years working with inner city youth programs as a liaison between Harris County and City of Houston.   Prior to that, he worked for the Corporation for National Service (AmeriCorps *National Civilian Community Corps and AmeriCorps VISTA).

Joseph Mykal had a tremendous zest for life. His extensive talents ranged from being a very talented mixologist, a fanatic fisherman, and an avid golfer and poker player and could always be counted on for anything.

Joseph Mykal is the fourth of six siblings. He was a loyal son, a dedicated brother, and a loving uncle.  Not only did he have his immediate family, he was apart of all the relative's family, as a loving first cousin, second and third cousin. He was a constant source of laughter, guidance, protection and support for everyone.  Joseph Mykal leaves behind countless cherished memories. We will miss his endless laughter and generosity.

Visitation will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Thursday, August 20, from 2:00pm until 8:00pm. Mass will be held at 6:30pm. Friday, August 21, at, Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church. Service will begin Saturday at 8:30am., also at Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
