Joe entered the loving arms of Our Lord in the afternoon hours of March 29, 2022, at 71 years young. Joe was born in Dayton, Texas on March 14, 1951 to late parents, Victor and Marta Garcia. Joe would soon come to know his life long love, and mother to five beautiful children, Celia Garcia "Sally" of 53 years. At a young age, Joe established a love for contracting, starting his own general contracting business at just 20 years old. For over 30 years, Joe's business would be successful, but his love for contracting would carry on for the rest of his life.

In his early thirties, Joe would purchase what we all know as, "The Land". Starting with nothing but a tiny shack, Joe would build his entire home from the ground up. This home would soon become home to all who knew him. There was never a dull day at "The Land," Joe could always find something to do, someone to joke with, and a cold beer to hold in his hand. His home was his happy place, and became a second home to so many people around him. Joe never met a stranger, and managed to touch the heart of every person he met. He would do anything for anybody that asked, especially his daughters.

Joe was loving of so many, but a truly special and loving father to Rose and husband Lee Jackson, Bobbie Jo Garcia, Martha and husband Carl Heinrich, Celina and husband Quinn Fox, and Joe Anthony Coronado. His love extended to his grandchildren; Crystella, Joseph, Dillon, Carl, Drayton, Meadaux, Easton, Joe, Taylor, Kamri, Kyle, Neveah, Kaleb, and Joleigh, and Great Grandchildren; Ava, Jaycee, Aidan, and Luna. As well as his brothers Henry, Rudy, Chris, and late brother Timothy Garcia. Pops' humor, smart remarks, and everlasting love will be gravely missed, but will surely continue to live on through his family and friends.

The Garcia family invites all those whom were touched by Joe to join them for his celebration of life, Wednesday, April 6, at 4:00pm, with visitation one hour prior to the service at Peevey Funeral Home 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, TX 77089.
