Jose "Joe" Arispe, Sr., 96, of South Houston entered into the Gates of Heaven on April 28, 2022. Joe was born in Lockhart, TX on September 15, 1925 and is proceeded in death by his wife of 53 years Elisa Lara Arispe and son Alonzo Arispe.

Joe is survived by his children Josie Pantoja (Roger Sr.), Joe Jr. (Flora), Jesse (Wanda), Johnny (Ruby), Mary Lou Gaona, and Jerry Arispe (Rachel). Joe is also survivedby many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren along with many numerous of nieces and nephews.

Joe lived most of his life in Rockport, Tx and Aransas Pass, Tx. where he was a fisherman for many years and met his wife, Elisa in Rockport. Together they had 7 children. Joe moved to Houston and worked in construction until he retired. Joe loved having family gatherings with his loved ones and loved to dance. He also had a love for his Astros. Joe lived a long and healthy life and will be missed dearly.

The visitation for Jose will be held at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Thursday, May 5, from 6:30pm until 8:00pm., with a Rosary prayed at 7:00pm. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 6, at 10:00am., also at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
