Johnathan "Big John" Mann, 65 yrs, of South Houston, passed away at MD Anderson hospital, Thursday, January 6, 2022. He was born in Houston, TX. to James Mann and Erma Grant on September 17, 1956. He was the President of The Bay Area Leather Necks Motorcycle Club. He was a member of The American Legion.

He worked for Turtle & Hughes for 16 years. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patsy Mann, daughter, Tiffany and husband Luis, grandson Shawn, brother Charles and wife Amanda, and his two nephews. All who loved him described him as talkative and friendly. He never met a stranger. He served our country and Mankind. He never broke bread without bowing and giving thanks. He towered over most and a new journey begins as "Big John" will now be laid to rest in eternity in the presence of God. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

The service will be held at 11:00am., Friday, January 14, with visitation one hour prior to the service, at Praise Chapel; 18516 TX-3, Webster, TX 77598. Interment will be held at Houston National Cemetery, Tuesday, January 18, at 10:45am.

2 Timothy (4:6-8) For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight; I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
