John C. Dean of Houston, Texas. entered into eternal rest with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday April 4, 2022.

Born August 24, 1937 in Seguin, Texas John went to high school in San Antonio where he met his sweetheart, Barbara. Upon graduation, John served in the Navy and in 1957 he and Barbara were married. During his service they were stationed in the Philippines and San Diego, California.

He and Barbara eventually settled in Houston, where they raised three boys. John worked for the Post Office until his retirement in 1994.

John was preceded in death by his wife Barbara and his son Russell.

He is survived by his son Ronnie Dean and wife Karen; his son John Dean and wife Dori; grandchildren Paul Dean, Kristin Pursley and husband Daniel, Chelsea Johnson and husband Allan, Cathrine Dean, and Cindi Dean; and many wonderful great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm., Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Houston.
