Jerry Ronald Crutchfield, known to many as "Pete" went to his heavenly home on May 18, 2022 at the age of 81. He was born on January 16, 1941 in Rison, Arkansas and spent his childhood there.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and then spent the rest of his life residing in the Houston area. He was in the flooring business and owner of Crutchfield Carpet Co. he later worked for Home Depot.

Pete was an avid sportsman and loved fishing, hunting and golfing with his children, grandchildren and friends. He also enjoyed gardening, country music, and football.

He is survived by his wife Norma Earlene, son Kevin and wife Janiece, son Brian and wife Amy, grandchildren Cody, Cameron, Makenna, Jimmy, Sarah, David, Caleb, Ally, Zoey and Kayson, sisters Jean Mason, Gloria Hankins, Doris Rice, sister-in-law Boyce Harrod, many nieces and nephews Jessica Woody and many special friends.

The service honoring his life will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Tuesday, May 24, at 6:00pm., with visitation one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held at Houston National Cemetery.
