It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jerry Glen Morris (64) announces his passing on January 15, 2026. Jerry will be missed deeply, but we take comfort in knowing he is resting in peace and joining his parents, other family members, and friends in heaven.

Jerry Morris "Bonehead" grew up in the neighborhood of Sagemont and attended Dobie High School. While there, he formed deep friendships that stayed with him for the rest of his life.

Jerry proudly served in the United States Navy as a Machinist's Mate from 1984-1990. During his time in service, he served aboard the USS Denver (LPD-9) and made lifelong friends that he greatly cherished and valued.

Following his military service, he met the love of his life, Sabina, with whom he built a loving life and family. Together they raised three children: Jeremy, Chanse, and Chayse. He cared deeply for his wife and children and took great pride in being a devoted husband and father. Jerry had many in-laws, nephews, and nieces whom he loved and treasured; he always made time to play a practical joke and make them laugh.

In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, kayaking, grilling, bowling, watching sports, and sharing jokes with friends and family. His sense of humor will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Brian and Kay. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sabina; sons Jeremy, Chanse, and Chayse; sister Debbie; and brother Jimmy.

The memorial celebration will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Saturday, May 9, at 2:00pm. with visitation prior to the service from 1:30pm until 2:00pm.
