It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jason Paul Holt of Houston, Texas, who went home to be with Jesus on July 24, 2026, at the age of 47.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Holt. He is survived by his wife, Jakeline; his mother, Norma Holt; his children, Jocelyn, Adelyn, and Jason Jr.; his brothers, Ray, Robert and his wife, Tina, Dwayne and his wife, Julie, and James and his wife, Amy; his sisters, Bonnie, and Tracy and her husband, John; and his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Affectionately known to many as "JP" or "Jay," Jason will be remembered for his kind smile, generous spirit, and unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports, and spending time with his family, especially his children. On many weekends, you could find him doing what he loved most: standing behind a grill, preparing a meal for those he cared about.

Jason also had a commendable work ethic and often referred to his coworkers as a second family. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Pathfinder Services and all of his colleagues for their kindness, friendship, and unwavering support over the years.

Jason's kind heart, warm personality, and infectious laugh touched the lives of everyone who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed by all.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, Texas, on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A private family gathering will be held at Confederate Cemetery, 998 Dickinson Road, Alvin, Texas, on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
