Janice Bloodworth went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 13, 2021. She was born on January 31, 1952 in Houston, TX. She married the love of her life, Joe Bloodworth on August 12, 1972. Janice was always a helper and supporter. She helped Joe as he started his business. She was a wonderful and loving mother to both of her children, Jodi and Joe Jr. She was involved with and supported them in every aspect of their lives both growing up and, also as they became adults.

Janice never needed the spotlight. She was completely comfortable in doing whatever needed to be done – from the smallest to the largest. She was never more than a few minutes away, whether day or night, and always made you glad that you had asked her to help.

Perhaps her greatest joy was being Mimi to her 5 grandchildren. She loved any time she could spend with them, and they each love their Mimi dearly. From when they were each babies, she cherished any experiences that they could enjoy together. She taught them about Jesus and His love for them before they were old enough to even speak.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Norma Potter. She is survived by her husband, Joe Bloodworth, daughter, Jodi Redmond, her husband, Joel Redmond, her son, Joe Bloodworth Jr, his wife Jordan Bloodworth and her five grandchildren, Charli Redmond, Joel Redmond Jr, Landon Bloodworth, Emery Bloodworth and Ty Bloodworth. She is also survived by her sister, Cindy Morgan, brother Bob Potter and his wife Suzanne, and brother Tom Potter and his wife Shelley.

The most important aspect of Janice's life was her personal relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She started every day in His Word and relied on Him for wisdom, guidance and direction to live her life. We know that she is in the presence of Jesus, and knowing that gives us all a peace that passes all understanding.

The service celebrating Janice's life will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in the Chapel at First Baptist Church of Pasadena, 7500 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, TX 77505 at 11am., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, TX.
