Janet Miller Hendrickson, a Pearland resident since the 1970's, passed away May 21st, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Martin and Joyce Miller, and her sister Sharon Bettis. She is survived by her daughter, Elana Milner Lloyd (husband Bryan) and her 2 granddaughters, Hayley and Haydyn Bartlett.

Jan was passionate about having fun and traveling. Her smile was contagious. She was a member of a Bunko group for more than 20 years. She loved to go on cruises and travel throughout Texas. She made a yearly trip to Bandera, Texas during Hunter's Weekend for the past 35 years. Her Bunko and Bandera friends became her family, and she loved them all so much.

Jan was still employed at the University of Texas-Health Science Center in the Office of Technology Management. She worked at UT for 37 years, where she also had coworkers that became family.

Jan's granddaughters were the light of her life. If you talked to Jan, you heard a story about her girls. Jan was the definition of fun and she loved hard.

The funeral service will be held at Peevey Funeral Home at 3:00pm Saturday, June 1, 2024, with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to MD Anderson Cancer Center.
