James "Jamie" Robert Albritton, born July 13, 1967 in Panama City, Fl, lost his courageous fight with cancer on May 28, 2024. Jamie was a loving husband and caring man to many. Jamie joined the TX Army National Guard from 1985 to 1987. Jamie then joined the Coast Guard serving from 1987-1993, when he left went through the Alvin Community College Police Academy completing in 1994. He served with several agencies: Reserve Officer at Seabrook PD, a Galveston County Constable Precinct, and ending with Harris County Constable Precinct 5 from 1997-2004 leaving as a Patrol Sargent. He then went on to get his Associate of Arts in Biology from San Jacinto Community College. He worked at the College starting as a Lab Tech and became a Division Operations Co-Ordinator with the South Campus Science and Health Division.

Jamie married his wife Jennifer "Jenni" Kaye Albritton on May 05, 2001 in Las Vegas, NV at The Little Chaple of Flowers even though Jamie really wanted to do the drive thru Pakastani Elvis Wedding. (Jenni had promised that on the 25th anniversary they would go through the drive thru for the re-vows). They lived in Nassau Bay, TX. Jamie's favorite pass times were fishing, Camping, gaming, and making people smile and laugh with his off the wall sense of humor. Jamie had a generous and sensitive soul and would do anything for anyone when they needed help.

Jamie is survived by his wife Jenni of 23 years, Brother Brian Albritton and his wife Jenny Albritton, their children, Andy Albritton, Emily Albritton, and Mina Ackerman. Patricia Desmarias (aka Aunt Patti) and her son/brother Stephen Phillips. Aunt Latrell McDowell, and her children: Nicole Coltrane, Nicholas McDowell, Nydia Ganas, Noelle Kahlenbeck and their families. Preceded in death by  Nini and Poppy, Marie-France Smith (mother), and Uncle Kile McDowell.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Monday, June 24, at 3:00pm., with visitation one hour prior to the service.
