James Weston McClure, 62, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026, in Pearland, TX. James was born on January 7, 1964, in Perryton, TX, to parents Billy Ray and Mary Bess McClure. He was hardworking and deeply dedicated to his career as a Technical Field Advisor in the oil field for over 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, Christina McClure; his daughter, Megan Cox, son-in-law, Dennis Cox, and their children, Lily and Charlotte; his son, Zachary McClure, daughter-in-law, Madi McClure, and their son, Oliver; his stepchildren, Faith Moreno and Layla Mead; and his sister, Marilyn Kobolt, as well as several cousins.

James was a devoted father, stepfather, husband, papa, and brother. He had a remarkable way of turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories, filling his home with laughter, love, and a strong sense of belonging. His passing leaves a profound sense of loss, but his memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him. He will be remembered not only for his unwavering love and devotion, but also for his ability to make the world a brighter, more joyful place.

He loved motorcycles, collecting watches, and spending time at the beach. Most of all, he cherished time with his family.

A funeral will be held on May 2, 2026, at Peevey Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, with the service following at 3:00 PM.
