Jacquelyne "Jackie" Kaye Hill Waddell, 73, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 12, 2023. Jackie was born on June 14, 1949 and spent her lifetime in Houston, Texas.  Known for her amazing cooking, passion for reading, and unwavering love of family, Jackie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter Leslie and her spouse Chris, her one and only favorite grandchild Beauregard "Beau", her sister Karen Netzel, sister Sandra Fisher and her husband Chris, nephew Chris Netzel, niece Lauren Netzel, niece Emily Fisher, niece Carly Fisher, and great nieces and nephews Casey, Cayden, Hudson, Jaxon, and Brooklyn.

Jackie loved kids and they loved her.  Her favorite pastime in recent years has been spending time with the children of the family and cuddling with her grandson.  She was also passionate about politics and enjoyed reality tv.  She spent many years owning a retail store and making many of the items sold there; she loved to paint and craft and was very good at it.  She was a spectacular mother, grandmother, and friend.  She cared deeply for others and always wanted to see people happy.  For her life and love, we are forever grateful and blessed. Her family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing.

A celebration of Jackie's life will be held at Peevey Funeral Home on Monday, June 19th, 2023 at 2pm located at 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, Texas 77089.  Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary.  If you desire, you can make a donation to the Pasadena Animal Shelter in her name.
