It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jacob Marcus Price, who left this world on November 6, 2024, at the age of 34. Jacob was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew him.

Born on March 24, 1990, in Houston, Texas, Jacob was the cherished son of Gary and Becky Price. He attended La Porte High School and Sam Houston State University, where his infectious personality and love for life made him a standout among his peers.

Jacob's bright light shone through his warm heart, genuine spirit, and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. Whether he was sharing a laugh, offering a word of encouragement, or providing one of his famous bear hugs, Jacob made the world a better place simply by being in it. He had a passion for gaming, which brought him closer to a community of friends and allowed him to forge connections that were deeply meaningful.

Jacob is survived by his loving parents, Gary and Becky Price, his sister, Emilie Jones and her husband Trent, nieces, Emerson Elaine Jones and Claire Elizabeth Jones, friend, Brytnie Jasiak, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jacob's passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his legacy of kindness, laughter, and generosity will live on in the memories of those who were fortunate to share in his life. His family takes comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to inspire and guide them.

A celebration of Jacob's life will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 3:00 pm, with visitation one hour prior to the service, in the chapel at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Rd, Houston, TX 77089.
