Mary Irene 'Nanaw' Bolt, 89, of Pasadena, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Irene was born on September 6, 1932 in Leander, Texas to her parents, Ira and Louise Maynard and was a graduate of Leander High School. She married the love of her life, Jack Doran Bolt in April 1951 and together they were in Christian ministry, pastoring multiple churches in Houston, Pasadena, Columbus, and Crockett, Texas. Notably, they pioneered Bethany Temple Assembly of God in Pasadena in the mid-1990s and were associate pastors at Central Assembly of God in Pasadena when J.B. Brumbelow was pastor. Nanaw was a lifelong devoted follower of Jesus Christ and never wavered as an example of a Godly woman and a mighty prayer warrior.

She loved crocheting, flower gardening, was a great seamstress and enjoyed shopping trips on Saturdays with her daughters. She was employed in the accounting department of Southwest Fabricating for many years. After her retirement there, she helped with her husband's machine shop in Pasadena until they moved to their country home near Crockett.

Nanaw was preceded in death by her parents, her 5 siblings, and her husband of 58 years, Jack Bolt. She is survived by her son Terry Bolt and his wife Elizabeth, daughter Becky Holmes and her husband Michael, and daughter Teresa Klinger and her husband Bruce. Her grandchildren are Aaron Holmes and his wife Ana Mae, Chris Bolt and his wife Ashley, Heather Hernandez and her husband Larry, Mark Klinger and his wife Jamie, and granddaughters Maresa Klinger and Megan Klinger. Nanaw's great-grandchildren are Laney Hernandez, Lochlan and Finnoula Holmes, and Aurora and Skyler Bolt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who adored her.

The funeral service will be at 12:30pm Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Peevey Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
