On Wednesday, October 13, 2021, Inez Burkhalter met her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our hearts are sad of what we have lost but are joyful in the promise we will see her again in heaven.

On the 16th of August 1928, Flora McDonald and Jas Wyatt Sr of Vida Alabama, welcomed baby Inez into this world. Then on July 15, 1944, she wed William Clarence Burkhalter, Jr, to most as Junior. She is survived by Junior, but not before enjoying 77 years of marriage and raising their three sons Michael, Larry and David, and their sole daughter, Tricia Ann, the ringleader.

Inez was most known for spending time with her church family, casseroles, crazy white elephant gifts, her keen fashion sense and of course, her most infectious smile, but her family and faith is what she loved the most. She was a member and Secretary of the First Baptist Church of Pasadena for most of her life. She was very active and never missed an opportunity to serve or attend services. She was in the Singing Christmas Tree, active in Keenagers, and served lunches weekly.

Inez was also blessed with a large family. She is survived by her husband, her sister Dot Seaman, four children: Larry Burkhalter and wife Jackie; Michael Burkhalter and wife Barbara; David Burkhalter and wife Regina; and daughter Patricia Rogers and husband Pat; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grand children, and 2 great great grandchildren, along with other loving relatives and friends.

The memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church Pasadena, Saturday, October 16, at 11:00am. Interment will be held at Grand View Memorial Park Tuesday, October 19, at 10:00am.
