Helen Roylene Wiggins, lovingly known to everyone throughout her life as Kiki, passed away on June 5, 2022, at the age of 60.

Kiki was born on January 14, 1962, in Channelview, Texas, to Jeanne and Homer Wiggins. She is preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Jeanne Wiggins. She is survived by her father, Homer Elgin Wiggins of La Porte, Texas, and her sisters, Denise Chatham of Pasadena, Texas, Sharon Anderson of Houston, Texas, and Elisa Doest of La Porte, Texas. Kiki is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Daniel Parrish, Jennifer Doest, Kelli Day, Stephen Doest, Amanda Montcrieff, and Jessica Doest, her brother-in-law, Leslie Doest, her great nephews, Jeffrey Day, Micah Chatham, and Ethan Day, and her best friend of 48 years, Lindy Hoggard.

After high school, Kiki followed in her parents' footsteps with a lifelong career in the grocery industry, working in the meat department, where she took great pride in her work and her relationships with her co-workers and customers.

Kiki was unique in so many ways. As a cancer survivor, she lived her life on her own terms and in her own ways. She was vibrant and passionate about the people and things she loved. Kiki lived hard, worked hard, and loved with her whole heart.

Kiki was especially passionate about and dedicated to her family. She attended every family function and supported all her nieces' and nephews' accomplishments. She was an exquisite and talented Southern-style cook and continued her mother's Christmas candy and cookie making traditions. She enjoyed 80s rock music and attending concerts with her friends, especially Lindy and Donna. She loved to read and attend book signings. Kiki was known for her love of the color purple, her love of jewelry, and for always having the best perfumes.

She was a loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be tremendously and forever missed by all who loved and knew her.

A celebration of Kiki's life will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Peevey Funeral Home, located at 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, Texas 77089. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kiki's memory to MD Anderson Cancer Center at mdanderson.org, and clicking on "Donate Today."
