Helen Jane Lierman, 92, of Houston, TX, passed away on November 22, 2024, peacefully at her daughter's home. Helen was also known as "Gram" to her family.

Helen was born on September 11, 1932, in Nacogdoches, TX to the parents of Willie and Lonnie Burk. Helen is preceded in death by her husband Donald Arthur Lierman, sisters, brothers, nephews, and nieces. Helen is survived by daughter, Pam Lierman, daughter, Diane Lierman-Abreu (spouse) Wade Abreu, and son, David Lierman (spouse) Julie Lierman.

Grandchildren: Taylor Abreu, Garrett Abreu, Ethan Lierman, Millicent Lierman, and Anneliese Lierman. Great Grandchildren: Mason Cade Robles and Paisley Gracelynn Abreu. Sister Quida Bristow.

Helen worked for Humble Oil & Refining Co. in the 1950's as an administrative secretary. She retired from San Jacinto College South as an administrative secretary. She married in 1958 and became a homemaker and mother of 3. She was a member of Woodridge Baptist Church and Park Place Baptist Church. She lived in Glenbrook Valley for many years and moved to Sage Glen subdivision in 2012. Helen enjoyed reading her Bible every morning and night, watching dog championship shows, & sports of any kind but her most favorite was watching University of Texas Longhorns.

Helen Loved the lord, her family and especially the Longhorns. She never missed a game they played. She had the biggest heart anyone could have. Ever since she became a mother, she always put her family first. She will always be known as a mother, a wife and "gram". Helen was a wonderful mother and lived her life to the fullest and will be missed tremendously and loved by her family and friends.

The service honoring Helen's life will be held at 10:30am, Friday, December 13, 2024, at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, Texas 77089. With visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at South Park Cemetery, in Pearland, Texas.
