HaTram Thi Tran, loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, the 24th of November 2022. She was born on the 26th of November 1951, in Vietnam.

HaTram attended Couvent des Oiseaux in Da Lat Vietman. Early in her life, she worked for several airlines, including TWA. She always had a drive for entrepreneurship and owned a dry cleaning business and a convenience store. She was proficient in several languages including French and English. This passion extended into a love of classic French music. HaTram enjoyed cooking and learning new recipes and particularly enjoyed French pastries. She also adored her grandchildren. HaTram was a generous person and will be truly missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thien Tran; her sisters, Theresa Ngoc Bao Thi Tran and Catherine Thu Thuy Thi Tran and her second husband Greg Johnson. HaTram is survived by her mother, Bich Tran; siblings, Thuan Tran, Thang Tran, Trinh Barger, Thi Tran and Thu Trinh; her children, Arthur Vu, Michael Vu, Christina Montez, Michelle Kanapi; numerous nieces and nephews, and grandchildren Christian Montez, Josiah Montez, Noah Montez, Connor Vu and Quinn Kanapi.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Rd., Houston TX 77089. Wake service will begin at 5:30pm and end at 6:30pm.

The funeral mass will be held at Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church, 10610 Kingspoint Rd., Houston TX 77075 at 10:00am Friday, December 2, 2022. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, in Webster.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Arthur Vu, Michael Vu, Omero Montez, Patrick Kanapi, Scott Elder and Thomas Trinh.
