Guillermo Delgado was born on July 22, 1945, in Havana, Cuba, and entered his eternal home on March 18, 2026, passing peacefully while surrounded by his loved ones.

Guillermo was a devoted husband, father, and man of deep faith whose life was marked by quiet strength, perseverance, and unwavering love for his family. He shared 65 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Miriam, whom he supported as a constant pillar of strength and devotion.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Miriam Delgado; his children, Maria del Carmen, Marlen, Monica, Damian, and Adriel; his son-in-law, James Herrick Jr.; his daughter-in-law, Connie; his brother, Nelson; his sister-in-law, Alina; and his nephew, Nelsito, and niece, Alianet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guillermo, and Georgina; his son, William; and his grandson, Avery, whom he has now joined in heaven.

Guillermo was a proud and loving grandfather to Mayrelis, Andrew, Alejandro, Aydan, Aryana, Aybran, and Matthew. He was also blessed with a great-grandchild, Nathaniel. His family meant the world to him.

Guillermo's life journey was one of courage and determination. With steadfast perseverance, he played an instrumental role in bringing his family out of communist Cuba, never losing hope even in the face of great challenges. His strong work ethic and relentless spirit laid the foundation for the life his family would build together.

A man of deep faith, Guillermo led by example. His love for God guided his actions, and he encouraged those around him through his quiet courage and enduring belief. He was known for his kindness, his steady presence, and his willingness to support and pray for others in their times of need.

Guillermo's legacy lives on in the strength of his family, the values he instilled, and the love he shared so freely. He will be deeply missed by his wife, his children, his grandchildren, great-grandchild, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private family service will be held to honor Guillermo's life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to Blood Cancer United or the American Cancer Society to support those affected by cancer.
