Franklin Thomas Bratcher was born in Hartford, Kentucky on November 8, 1952 to Everett and Aleen Bratcher. He and his older sister, Buryl, had a blessed and happy childhood growing up in Kentucky. Some of his fondest memories were also being on his family's farm in Indiana.

At a young age, he was baptized in Jesus Name and filled with the Holy Ghost at Christ Apostolic Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Then, as a young adult, he moved to Houston, Texas.

On March 29, 1974, he married the love of his life, Charlene Olson. Together they had two beautiful girls, Crystal Jean and Kara Kimberly whom they were deeply proud of, two sons-in-law, and three grandchildren. Frank, along with his wife, were faithful members and pillars of Gulfgate Pentecostal Church, now known as Christ Church Apostolic. He was a hard worker and excelled at whatever he put his hands to. He served as Sunday School Superintendent for almost 40 years and loved creating a fun environment for kids to learn about Jesus. He will be remembered for his warm and caring personality as well as extraordinary generosity. If he noticed someone in need, he went the extra mile to help them out. He was sincere in his care and love for others and never wanted credit or accolades. It was good enough that he knew he had helped someone out.

Frank passed from this life to be with Jesus on November 10, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Charlene Bratcher, and his parents, Everett and Aleen Bratcher. He is survived by his daughter, Crystal and her husband Rev. Jon McDaniel, his daughter, Kara and her husband Ruben Barron, his sister, Buryl and her husband Jerry Isaacks.  He is also survived by his three beloved grandchildren, Jon Paul, Kristen, and Savannah, and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Christ Church Apostolic, Friday, November 17, at 7pm.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 18, at 11am at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster.
