It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Ciro "Moose" Ditta who was unexpectedly called to Heaven on May 20, 2025, at the age of 72. The love he left behind was present as he was surrounded by family and loved ones on this day. Frank was born on February 24, 1953 to Mary Bua Ditta and Frank Joseph Ditta in Houston, Texas. He grew up in the Houston area at his parents grocery store and on Country Club Drive. Frank graduated from St. Thomas High School, then attended welding school and made a career in construction and maintenance. He married his wife, Cynthia Ditta, on November 14, 1997 and they settled in Pearland, Texas. Those who knew Frank growing up didn't know him as Frank but as "Moose" and he proudly carried that nickname his entire life. He had a heart of gold and would do whatever he could to help anyone he loved. Frank was a loving dad, husband, brother, uncle, Paw Paw, cousin and friend to many - he loved big!

Frank is survived by wife Cynthia Ditta, daughter Kristen (Ditta) Hernandez and her husband Miguel Hernandez, step daughters Kelly Kendrick, Tiffany Wilson, and Valerie Vargas, sister Vita Rao and her husband Luke Rao, 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary Ditta, sisters Sarah Theresa Holub and Mary Lucille Emmitte, brother-in-law Joe Holub and great nephew Caden Rao.

A visitation will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Thursday, May 29, from 5:00pm until 6:00pm, the service will follow at 6pm. Family and friends are welcome to gather after the service and share stories with the family. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
