On November 28, 2021 Frank was summoned by the lord. He was summoned to be promoted to angel status.

Frank was born in Pasadena, Texas, on July 2, 1967. He was the first born to Andy and Theresa Almendarez. Frank's name was given to him by his Great-grandfather, Frank Gutierrez. He was a Texan his entire life.

Frank was the father of three, oldest Andrew, Jacob, and Audrey Almendarez. Frank loved his children very much and always strived to connect with them. Frank always put his children's needs before anything else, sometimes at great sacrifice. Frank was a wonderful grandfather to his granddaughter Isabella Almendarez. Frank had a close relationship with his younger sister, Annette Almendarez, and niece Brianna and nephew Kobe Bonilla. Frank was a very hard worker and built strong relationships all along the way. He had an immaculate character and always a positive attitude.

He was greeted in Heaven by his grandparents Guadalupe Almendares, Antonio Almendares, and surrounded by many loved relatives. Frank had many devoted close friends and enjoyed life. He felt his most calm while enjoying fishing. He was a huntsman at heart and an avid sportsman.

Frank loved to cook, he called it therapy. He could have been a food critic. He would often follow food trucks and post about his findings. Frank would often take pictures of his food and post comments on Facebook. He also liked to try new restaurants.

Frank mostly enjoyed spending time with his son Andy and granddaughter Bella. The three of them often enjoyed bike riding, creating most precious memories never forgotten. Frank and Andy talked every day, sometimes several times a day. Frank and Andy were best friends. Frank called Andy everyday and spent time almost every day. Andy has relied on his dad being the person to look to for answers and has had to mature since the loss of his dad. Andy has taken on a tremendous load of responsibility, and is doing a fantastic job, he is making his dad proud.

Jacob Almendarez was Frank's second born son. Jacob and his dad bonded at a very young age over video games. His dad introduced him to his love for gaming, Because of this Jacob's passion for striving to be number one, helped him in the real world. His dad was very proud of him.

Audrey Almendarez is the youngest child and only daughter of Frank. Audrey's choice words for her dad are loyal, hardworking, funny, and loving. Audrey knew that she could always call her father with no matter what she needed, and he would always show up and come through for her no matter what time.

Audrey bonded with her dad over many different things, that now those things remind her of him, movies, songs, places, and so much more. Audrey is now grateful to have had such great moments with him and will always cherish it.

A visitation will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Saturday, December 4, from 6:00pm., until 8:00pm.
