Frances A. Roby, 87, of Houston, Texas went to be with the Lord on March 29th 2023. She was born on September 17, 1935, in Carter South Dakota the daughter of Caroline and Albert Beck. On January 4, 1954, she married Roger Roby. This union of 62 years was blessed with 6 children.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband Roger Roby, her parents Caroline and Albert Beck, her son Rodger Roby, her siblings Albert Beck Jr., Carol Anderson, Averil Strothers and son-in-law Rodney Corbett. She is survived by her daughter Frances Corbett, her son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Rebecca Roby, son and daughter-in-law Russell and Eunice Roby, daughter-in-law Soledad Roby, daughter and Son-in-law Heidi and Jeff Leat, Daughter Ginger Roby: grandchildren Kevin, Cocoa, Roger, Roxie, Josh, Ashley, Katie, Zachery, Abraham, Marisol, Mariana, Casandra, Jessica, Nick and 7 great grandchildren.

Frances was a devoted wife, mother, and Grandmother. She was very family oriented joyfully seeing to her family's needs. She made sure each birthday was special and hosted many family events. She made the most of the many moves the family made during Rogers military career, including an overseas tour in Okinawa, Japan. She enjoyed bowling, quilting, trying new recipes and especially playing cards.

Throughout her life she was a faithful member of the WELS Lutheran Church. She took great comfort and joy knowing her life was in God's hands.

She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday, April 12, at Peevey Funeral Home and the service honoring Frances' life will be held at 4:30pm, Thursday, April 13, of Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 4425 FM 2351, Friendswood 77546.
