Fernando Davila, 58, died January 20, 2023. He was born in Houston, August 10, 1964. He is preceded in death by his wife of thirty-five years Mary Scanlin Davila, his Mother, Alice Davila and brother, Felix Davila. Fernando attended South Houston High School and was a South Belt resident for over forty years. Fernando worked in the Wrecker Industry his entire life and was a respected member of the community. Fernando was a kind and generous man who was always there to help when needed. He was recently confirmed in the Catholic faith and had rededicated his life to our Lord and Savior.

Fernando is survived by his five children. Sons, Nicholas, Joshua, Christopher, Joseph and daughter, Grace Powell and granddaughter Olivia Powell. He is also survived by his father, Jesus Davila, brothers, Jesse, Oscar, Paul, Armando, Joel, Gabriel and sister Alice Stanford and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Rosary and Vigil will be held on Thursday, February 16th at 5:30 pm and a Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 17th at 10:00am with reception to follow, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 10727 Hartsook St, Houston, Texas 77034.
