Faye Bruce, a resident of Houston, TX went to meet her heavenly Father on March 19, 2023, at the age of 96. She is survived by her sister, Vera Bruce Stephens, and brother, Dossie Bruce, wife Affie, their daughter Allison and husband Jason Pagel, their sons Brennan and Dawson and numerous other nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Faye was a retired office manager for Channel Personnel. She was a long-time member of Sunset United Methodist Church. She loved gardening and being outside with her flowers. She was a huge fan of the Houston Rockets and seldom missed any games on TV. Faye dearly loved everyone in her family and she will be greatly missed by her pet, Mr. Kitty.

Faye was preceded in death by her father Andrew M. Bruce and mother, Alice Ballard Bruce. She will be buried alongside her parents in Marthaville, Louisiana her birthplace. No services are planned.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital for their wonderful and compassionate care — In particular, Dr. Cowling, Dr. Joshua, and nurses Genesis, Ana, Narda, Elizabeth, Ruchi, Myca, Kim, Maria, Ashley, Ruchi, and Janet.
