Eunice Nancy Monroe completed her earthly journey May 20, 2022. She was born on May 26, 1935, in Glenmora, Louisiana to parents Eula Merchant Monroe and Archie Levy Monroe, who most certainly welcomed her home. She was sister to and joined in Heaven Laverne Monroe Johnson, Archie Lee Monroe, Bennie Lee Monroe, James Anthony Monroe, and Ottis Otto Monroe. Sister Lamerle Monroe Rhame is her surviving sibling.

On August 6, 1955, she married Tom (Bud) Holman Daniel Jr, who proceeded her on the journey home. Married for 49 years, Bud and Eunice are united once again. They will be sorely missed by surviving family and friends!

Until September 11, 1978, she was most affectionately known as Mom to surviving children Vivian Daniel, Steven Daniel, and Tom (Tommy) Daniel, III. On, or around that day, she became known as Granny and, if she were here today, would say she was forever blessed by the following:

Forever Granny to:

"Outlaws" Arnetta (Arni) Mahavier Daniel, wife of Steven, and Jamie Krnavek Daniel, wife of Tommy.

Grandkids: Stephanie Loy Morris and husband Kyle Morris, Michael Loy and wife Aisha Loy; Marguerite and Jordan Daniel; Curran, Mason, and Cameron Daniel.

Great Grandchildren: Ryan Morris and wife Emily Bellamy Morris, Kyler and Holden Morris; Alyssa, Maryssa, Tigerlily, Cataleya, and Michayla Loy; Jett, Wyatt, and Beckett Daniel.

Great, great Granddaughter: Molly Mae Morris.

Would be remiss, if we did not mention the surviving dogs, who "never" would be in the house, January, Winston, December, Sadie, Louie, and Simba.

From all to Granny, you will be deeply missed. However, we will hold on the promise of 2 Samuel 12:23, that we cannot bring you back to us, but someday we will go to you. May you rejoice with the angels and know you are forever in our hearts. With all our love, goodbye Sis, Mom, Granny!
