Edward DeLaFuente, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 34. Born on August 17, 1990, to Sarah and Alfredo DeLaFuente in Galveston, Texas, Edward was known for his love of playing games with family and building model cars. His competitive spirit and joyful nature brought laughter and excitement to those around him.

Edward is survived by his mother, Sarah DeLaFuente, and his siblings: Tracy Trinh (Anthony), Alfredo DeLaFuente (Melissa), Cindy Dominguez (Roy), Lori Castilow (Q), Freddy DeLaFuente (Maria), Beatrice Aguirre (Fabian), and Veronica McMurtry (T-Mac). He also leaves behind 16 nieces and nephews, and 8 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfredo DeLaFuente Jr.

A memorial service to celebrate Edward's life will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, at 3:00pm, with visitation one hour prior to the service, at Peevey Funeral Home. Edward's spirit, love, and laughter will remain in our hearts forever. He will be missed more than words can express.
