Eden Mikala Hogan was born to Erika Salinas and James Hogan on December 28, 1993, she entered this world as she left it- a treasured gift to all.

Eden was a beloved Daughter, Sister, Granddaughter, Niece and Cousin.

Left to cherish her memory, she is survived by her parents, her sister Destinee, brother Amari, grandparents Rosa and Robert Salinas and Sharon and Melvin Hogan; Uncles- Emmanuel, Alfonso, Quentin, Davin, Chase and Randall; Aunts- Esmeralda, Jessica and Kristy; as well as several cousins that she loved very much.

A massage therapist by trade of nine years, Eden possessed the power of healing through touch. In her sessions, she enjoyed giving people the peace and relief they needed, and they always left there better than they arrived.

Even at a young age, Eden was always a unique individual. She was strong-minded, an overcomer of obstacles. She made no apologies for the things that she liked, and wore her individuality as a badge of honor.

She loved to lose her thoughts in thunderstorms with her favorite artist, Zomboy, playing in the background.  She enjoyed being barefoot and being able to feel the Earth beneath her. She had a passion for all the things that brought her comfort, from softball, to crystals, to being in the kitchen, to spending time in Colorado. And of course, we can't forget about her obsession with sharks and Michael Myers.

At home, Eden was happiest with her three cats, Luna, Lilith and Wednesday.

Having cat-like eyes herself, they shared a special bond and they brought her great comfort and peace.

Of all the things Eden loved, her family was always her safe haven.

She loved spending time with them and just being.

She possessed so many special gifts and traits she will be remembered by but those electric green eyes of hers, her smile and that contagious laughter will always be carried in the hearts of those that knew and loved her.

Her laughter, like herself, could fill a space like no other.

Eden will always be remembered as a kind, beautiful spirit- too good for this world, but this world will never be the same without her.
