Our Dear Mother, Dorothy J. Spires passed away peacefully with her family by her side at her home, August 22, 2023. She was 84 years old born July 1, 1939 in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. She was a wonderful Mom who loved her family deeply.

Although our hearts are broken, we are at peace knowing she is with our Daddy, Ralph E Spires and our brother David E Spires, along with her siblings and parents.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Janet Spires Chaffin and Tricia Spires Beck, husband Gene Beck. She loved her grandchildren Chasity, David, Keith, Melissa, Greg, Lisa, Michael and David.  The great grandchildren Heidi, Kylar, Mazlyn, Mckinzy, Jeremy, Addison, Avery, Destiny, Dylan and David. She had 2 great great grandchildren Adlynn and Jaxon. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who she loved very much.

Mom our hearts are broken but knowing you are in "PARADISE" with Daddy and David will help us mend. We will never stop loving you or thinking of you and Daddy.  Y'all were the best parents we could ever wished for and we were very blessed. We have so many fun loving memories.  We know you are not having any pain or misery.  Mom live and be free of all pain.  We all love you so very much and you will never be forgotten!  Thank you for being our Mother.

The memorial service will be held at a later date.
