Donald James Cramer, 65, of League City, Texas, went home to be with his Lord Jesus on August 16, 2025. Don was born on April 15, 1960 in Wooster, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Marjorie (Hoffer) Cramer.

Don is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Sharon Cramer; his beloved daughter, Stephanie Cramer; siblings Michael (Therese) Cramer, Carolyn (Patrick) Nicholas, Susan Cramer, and Mark (Jennie) Cramer; numerous nieces and nephews; and a wide circle of loving relatives and cherished friends.

Don grew up on a dairy farm in West Lebanon, Ohio, and he loved to regale others with stories of his life on the farm. A graduate of Waynedale High School and the University of Akron, Don spent most of his career as an Instrumentation Engineer for Marathon Petroleum, first in Canton, Ohio and later in Texas City, Texas.

Don was a Bible-believing Christian and a member of Sagemont Church in Houston. He was hard-working and always ready to be of service. Whether volunteering through Marathon Petroleum's Volunteer Program, or with the Helping Hands Fostering Love ministry at Sagemont after he retired, Don always put others before himself.

Don treasured his family, and he would do anything for his wife and daughter. They were the loves of his life.

Don's family takes comfort in the fact that although his passing was sudden and unexpected, he closed his eyes here on earth and opened them in the presence of his Savior. Don's greatest desire was for others to know the love and hope of Christ, the Giver of eternal life.

The family will receive friends at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, Texas 77089, Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 10:00 am followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
