Dionisia "Ada" Lozano was called home by our Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 25, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. Dionisia was born on October 9, 1934 to Concepción Morejón and Rafaela Armenteros in Matanzas, Cuba. She was predeceased by her husband, Pedro Antonio Lozano, siblings Concepción, Maria Francisca, Marco Antonio, Josefina, Ofelia, and Jóse Miguel and survived by her daughters, Lucia De La Caridad (husband Robert), Zoila Lozano, and Elisa Rodriguez (husband Antonio), and son Pedro Julio Lozano (wife Katherine), and granddaughters Katarina Rodriguez, Arianna Rodriguez, and Ava Lozano.

Her endless love for her life partner Pedro, her children, grandchildren, family, and friends were with all her heart and spirit. She was truly an example of a loving wife, wonderful mother and abuela. When she wasn't filling her home with warmth, love and kindness, she could be found at her favorite little slice of heaven (la casita de la playa) in Galveston, Tx.

She was a beautiful and caring person inside and out. Always with a smile on her face, a loving hug, and kind words of wisdom for all that crossed her path. Her endless love to worship Jesus and share her knowledge of the Scriptures was first and foremost the most important throughout her life. She encouraged and supported everyone through her continuous services at the Centro Catolico Carismatico Iglesia and St. Francis Cabrini Church. Her presence at the church were countless where she spent time serving her community and our Lord and Savior.

Her presence among us will be truly missed, but her eternal love will burn bright in each of our hearts! Until we meet again…

Visitation will be held from 6pm until 8pm, Friday, March 3, at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Rd., Houston, Texas 77089. The funeral service will be held the following morning, Saturday, March 4, starting at 10am also located at Peevey Funeral Home.
