Dewey M. Teague, 83 of Excelsior Mo, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025.   Born March 22,1942, in Stamps, Ak. to Sam Teague and Evyl Tyra Teague.  Dewey's younger years were full of adversity, but he overcame a lot with strength and determination.

Dewey served in the Army from 1962 -1964 during the Vietnam War.  Apon returning, he lived in Pasadena, Texas for many years.  Worked as a welder until he was forced to retire early.  He moved to Goodrich, Tx and learned he really loved living in the country and the quiet lifestyle it brought.  In 2002, he relocated to Excelsior Springs, Mo and lived the rest    of his life in a quiet little farmhouse on the top of a hill overlooking many farms.  He really loved it there.

Dewey could fix just about anything, and small engines were his specialty.  He took great pride in returning an old engine to nearly brand new again.  The joke was "if you weren't willing to put the money into fixing it correctly don't take it to Dewey".  Dewey also loved working in his yard.  He took great pride, making sure it looked just right.

He is survived by his sister-in-law Nelda Teague, nephews Steve Teague, Stan Teague and wife Jan, Nieces Wendy Huffman and husband John, Penny Pineault and husband Marc and Christie Hinnenkamp. His eight great nieces and nephews Lindsay Johnson, Claire Teague, Matalyn Teague, Tyra Huffman, Ethan Huffman, Garrett Pineault, Abbey Pineault, Mason Hinnenkamp and three great-great nephews.

He is proceeded in death by his father Sam Teague, mother Evyl Tyra Teague, brother Sam Terrell Teague, sisters Deborah Ham Sawyer, and Jeanie Kay Teague.

Special thanks to Paul and Laura Easley for being such great friends to Dewey, especially in the last few years as he progressed in age and his health started to decline.

A graveside service for Dewey will take place Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 11:00am., at Grand View Memorial Park, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
